Event Management Platform for ACCAsia’s Cardiology Conferences
ACCAsia runs cardiology conferences for medical professionals across Asia. These events involve hundreds of registrations, multiple speakers, and scientific sessions delivered in real time. Generic event tools couldn’t keep up. We built ACCAsia a custom platform on LCNC, Node.js, and PostgreSQL — one system that handled everything from registration to post-event reporting.
Technology Stack
01 Overview
ACCAsia engagement context.
ACCAsia runs cardiology conferences for medical professionals across Asia. Each event means hundreds of registrations, multiple speakers, and live scientific sessions.
Managing all of this with manual processes and generic tools created risk and overhead. No single system covered the full event lifecycle.
Evolve Blue built a custom platform on LCNC, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. It handled everything in one place — from registration through session access and post-event reporting.
02 The Challenge
ACCAsia constraints to solve.
- Conference management relied on manual coordination and generic event tools that didn’t handle medical event complexity.
- Registration, speaker management, session scheduling, and content delivery all needed to work together consistently.
- Hybrid events required different but coordinated experiences for virtual and in-person attendees.
- The team had no single system that covered the full event lifecycle.
- Post-event reporting required manual data compilation after each event.
03 The Solution
ACCAsia solution architecture.
We built a full event management platform on low-code (LCNC) foundations with Node.js and PostgreSQL for the backend.
The platform managed the complete conference lifecycle: attendee registration and profile management, speaker coordination and session scheduling, content delivery and session access control, attendance tracking, and post-event reporting.
It supported both virtual and in-person conference formats — giving ACCAsia’s operations team a single system for managing everything from registration open to post-event close.
Attendee Registration
Attendee registration and profile management with self-service access.
Speaker Management
Speaker management — profiles, session assignments, and coordination tools.
Session Scheduling
Scientific session scheduling with conflict management and room allocation.
Content Delivery
Content delivery and session access control for virtual and in-person attendees.
Attendance Tracking
Attendance tracking across all sessions and formats.
Post-Event Reporting
Virtual and in-person conference format support in a single platform.
04 What We Built
ACCAsia delivery objectives.
Build a purpose-built event management platform for ACCAsia’s cardiology conferences.
Handle attendee registration, speaker coordination, session scheduling, content delivery, and attendance tracking.
Support both virtual and in-person conference formats in one system.
Automate post-event reporting and eliminate manual data compilation.
05 Implementation Journey
ACCAsia delivery journey.
Discovery
We mapped ACCAsia’s conference operations end to end — attendee journey, speaker workflows, session scheduling, and reporting needs for both virtual and in-person formats.
Design & Planning
We designed the platform for hybrid events. We also planned the PostgreSQL schema to hold all conference data: attendees, speakers, sessions, content, and attendance.
Build & Implementation
We built in phases — registration first, then speaker tools and scheduling, then content delivery and access control, then reporting.
Launch & Support
We deployed for a live ACCAsia conference, supported the event on the day, and collected feedback for later improvements.
06 Before / After
From manual coordination to a unified conference platform.
The platform replaced fragmented conference operations with a single system covering the entire event lifecycle.
Manual coordination and generic tools
Conference operations relied on manual coordination and generic tools that didn’t handle the complexity of large medical events — fragmented processes and limited visibility.
Single platform for the full lifecycle.
A single platform managed the entire conference lifecycle — from registration through content delivery and attendance tracking — for both virtual and in-person formats.
Before
- Conference operations relied on manual coordination and generic tools.
- No single system covered registration, scheduling, content delivery, and attendance.
- Hybrid events required separate processes for virtual and in-person attendees.
- Post-event reporting required manual data compilation.
After
- A single platform managed the entire conference lifecycle.
- Virtual and in-person formats supported in one system.
- Registration, scheduling, content delivery, and tracking worked together.
- Post-event reporting automated — no manual data compilation after each event.

09 Conclusion
Why the ACCAsia engagement mattered.
ACCAsia needed a platform for large cardiology conferences. That meant managing hundreds of registrations, coordinating speakers, scheduling sessions, and delivering content — for both virtual and in-person attendees. Generic tools couldn’t handle it.
Evolve Blue built a custom conference management platform on LCNC, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Everything runs in one place. ACCAsia’s team now has full visibility and control from registration open to post-event close.
